SPAKO is a free global chat, voice, and video calling app — built to stay clear and fast on any connection, from a fibre line in Berlin to a patchy signal in rural Liberia. It's also where creators post, artists release music, and both actually get paid for it.
Most chat apps are designed and tested on fast, stable Wi-Fi. SPAKO is designed the opposite way: for the connections billions of people actually have day to day — slower, less stable, sometimes expensive — anywhere on earth.
That's not a limitation bolted on later. It's the reason SPAKO's calling and messaging were built the way they were, from the first line of code.

Built on LiveKit, engineered to hold a clear call on low-bandwidth, high-latency, unstable connections instead of dropping or freezing. Add friends to a one-to-one call (up to 6 people), switch noise cancellation on or off, send a message without hanging up, and share your screen on Android.

A text-first post for sharing what's on your mind. Pick a colour, or your own photo or video, as the background, add emoji stickers, and attach an optional song from the shared sound library. You can also add it to your story.
Ads can play on every video, and creators earn a share of the ad revenue from other people's ads on their content. Withdraw once your balance reaches the minimum payout. Earnings are released after a short review period that guards against fake activity.
Top artists and creators of the month and of the year are chosen automatically from real activity, then spotlighted in the app with the month or year they won. Sponsored awards link to the sponsor. No applications and no politics.
Creators can offer a 30-day membership. Members get access to everything the creator marks for members, including older items. It does not renew by itself, and anything you bought separately stays yours. Creators are told when someone joins, and members get a reminder before it ends. Creators have their own dashboard with their members, join counts, buyers and sales for each item. Payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store.
Turn on Data Saver in your Profile and videos stop playing by themselves in the feed and in story previews. In chat, a video you receive on mobile data waits for you, with its size shown, until you tap Download. On Wi-Fi it downloads on its own. Once a video is on your phone it plays again without using any data.
Give any chat its own look. Pick from colors, gradients, patterns and SPAKO's own pictures, and see a live preview before you apply it. The theme changes your bubbles and the wallpaper together, and the other person sees it too. In a group, the person who created it chooses the theme.
See who did what, with their photo, in a clear list that separates New from Earlier. Accept or delete a friend request right there, remove any notification, and load older ones when you want them. Comments, tags and new posts from friends can alert your phone too, kept to a few a day so they never pile up. In Notification settings each kind has a switch: on alerts with sound, off still shows on your phone but silently with no sound or buzz. You can set quiet hours so nothing buzzes at night. Everything still waits in your list.
Swipe a message to the right, or press and hold it and choose Reply. Your answer shows the message it replies to, whether it was text or a voice note, and tapping that quote jumps back to the original. It works in one-to-one chats and groups.
Everything you have bought is in one Purchased list in the marketplace. If a creator takes an item off sale, it disappears from browsing and search for new buyers, but you and your creator's active members keep access. Items removed for copyright or safety reasons are removed for everyone.
Search the sound library by song title or artist. Artists choose a main genre (and can set a different one for a single song), so you also get "more like this" and what is trending. If an exact song isn't there, you see close matches and popular songs instead of an empty screen.
Creators can add a product link to a post. A small badge shows the store, such as Amazon, eBay or Temu, and posts that may earn the creator a commission say "Contains affiliate link". Paid partnerships are labelled too. Creators can see how many different people tapped their link.
Add your birthday and switch it on in your profile. SPAKO wishes you a happy birthday, and your friends get a reminder with your photo and a one-tap message to send you.
Music on SPAKO comes from its library, and artists confirm they own what they upload. Anyone can report copyrighted content, and repeat infringers are banned. See our copyright policy.
Friends can react to and comment on your stories. You can see who viewed each story and how they reacted.
Views from brand-new or suspicious accounts do not count towards earnings, so a creator's numbers reflect a real audience.
SPAKO is built for anyone, anywhere — a global app you can download in any country, on either major mobile platform. Its calling and messaging are specifically engineered to keep working where most apps struggle: intermittent 2G/3G, high latency, and expensive data, alongside the fast networks it also runs on everywhere else.
When someone tips a creator, 70% goes to the creator and 30% to SPAKO. Payments run through Stripe.
Ads play on videos, and creators earn a share of the revenue from other people's ads on their content. The share grows as a creator builds a real audience.
Any individual or business can submit a paid ad — a photo, video, or promoted song — as a skippable pre-roll, an overlay card, or a native sponsored post. Every ad is reviewed by a human admin before it goes live. A fundraiser post can also be boosted this way — by its own organizer or by anyone else who wants to help it reach more people, with the organizer's consent required whenever someone other than themselves is paying.
Most global chat and social products are optimized for markets with cheap, fast, reliable data, and treat weaker networks as an afterthought. SPAKO starts from the opposite assumption and builds calling and messaging around it, worldwide — with tipping, ad revenue share, and an artist music platform designed into the product from day one.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SPAKO, including the SPAKO mobile application and www.getspako.com (together, the "Service"), provided by SPAKO ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create a SPAKO account. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and that you're not barred from using the Service under applicable law.
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, songs, messages, and other content you post to SPAKO ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant SPAKO a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service — for example, showing your post in the feed, delivering your messages, or playing a song you've uploaded through the sound library.
You're solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post anything that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates our community guidelines.
If you upload music to SPAKO as an artist, you confirm you own the rights to that music or have the necessary permissions to upload and distribute it through the Service, including making it available in the shared sound library for other users to attach to their own posts. Once uploaded, songs can only be removed from SPAKO by a SPAKO administrator — contact us at hello@getspako.com to request removal of a song.

You agree not to misuse the Service — including harassment of other users, posting content that violates the law or third-party rights, attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, or using the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes.
You may stop using SPAKO and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SPAKO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

We use the information above to operate the Service — for example, to deliver your messages and calls, show your posts and stories to the right people, calculate and pay out creator earnings, process tips and ad purchases through Stripe, and moderate content that violates our Terms.
We don't sell your personal information. We share information only:
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Stories are automatically removed 24 hours after posting. If you delete a piece of content, it's removed from your profile and the feed; some records may be retained where needed for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
You can update your profile information, delete individual pieces of content, or delete your account at any time from within the app. Artists: songs can no longer be removed directly from the app — contact hello@getspako.com and a SPAKO admin will take it down for you.
SPAKO is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll take appropriate action.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
